What is a personalised hydration plan?
It is a specific plan that will tell you which products to take, when and how to take them during your sporting objective. For example: if you are going to run a marathon, the plan will specify which sports nutrition products to take before the competition, then which products to take during the marathon, spaced out over time according to your physiological needs, and finally the products you will need afterwards for your recovery, specifying in all cases the amount of salts provided by each product and the carbohydrates per hour provided by the plan. The plan takes into account the data we obtained from analysing your sweat with our Sweatracker, your preferences, your tastes and goals.
Does the hydration plan include the recommended products?
No, in each plan products are recommended and the necessary information is provided so that you can buy them, but they are not included in the price of our service. Of course, you can purchase them in the way you prefer.
Why doesn't my hydration plan include any products from my preferred brand?
Our goal is to adapt 100% to the athlete, providing plans that are perfectly tailored to their specific physiological needs.
When developing your personalised hydration plan, we analyse a number of individual factors, such as your level of physical activity, your performance goals, your hydration needs and your personal preferences. While certain products from your preferred brand may be validated by us, they may not be the most suitable for your specific requirements.
We want to ensure that each component of your hydration plan offers you the maximum possible benefits. Therefore, your plan may include products from other brands that we feel are more suitable for you. Our priority is your wellbeing and optimal performance, so we carefully select the products that best suit your needs.
How many plans does the subscription include?
With the premium subscription you can create as many hydration plans as you need, there is no limited number, but always in the same sport discipline. If you are going to use one of our plans in a competition we will always recommend that you try the products first in a training session, this way you can make sure that the products that are recommended suit your body and you can use them safely in the competition.
Does this plan cover the carbohydrate intake I need during a competition?
No. Our plans include the sports hydration products that you will need during the competition, these products are usually composed of electrolytes and carbohydrates, but only with these products you will not be able to get the total amount you need for your competition. You will need to consult a nutritionist to design a nutrition plan that meets your needs. However, all our hydration plans indicate the amount of carbohydrate per hour that you will be ingesting if you follow our plan.
Can I reuse a SweaTracker?
The patches are for single use only. You can follow the recycling recommendations when you have finished using them.
Can I use the SweaTracker in different disciplines?
The sweating profile of the same athlete usually varies from one discipline to another due to different factors such as the environmental conditions in which you practice each of the disciplines (the thermoregulation process, lowering the body temperature, is much more efficient when cycling than when running, for example), your level of preparation or diet among others. This is why a complete sweat analysis should be performed for each sport discipline for which you want to obtain a personalised hydration plan.
For an accurate estimation of salt loss in competition, data from three training sessions in each discipline is required.
ATTENTION: The SweaTracker cannot be used when swimming or doing water sports where the SweaTracker can get wet.
Why is the refill pack 2 SweaTracker?
As you have already used the Welcome Pack and you have used 3 SweaTrackers to create and complete your sweat profile or SWEATPROFILE, with the refill pack we will update your data and observe how the composition of your sweat has changed, thus updating our databases with your new hydration requirements. With these 2 SweaTrackers we will have enough information to continue designing updated and completely personalised hydration plans.
Validity of SweaTrackers; When to renew them?
The data obtained by our SweaTrackers is valid for 3 months. During this time we ensure that we are providing accurate hydration plans according to your physiological needs. After 3 months, your sweat profile may change, both due to changes in environmental conditions and changes in your fitness level, so it is recommended that you have your sweat analysis done again, especially for athletes who compete at different times of the year.
What if I can't weigh myself immediately after finishing my workout?
While it’s ideal to weigh in right after you finish to get accurate sweat loss data and adjust your hydration plan accordingly, we understand that this is not always possible. If you can’t weigh yourself immediately after finishing your workout, don’t worry, save your workout data with the ‘Save as draft’ button. You can then edit the data of this workout in the ‘My workouts’ menu by clicking on the pencil icon of that saved workout.
What happens if I don't have my mobile phone with me during training?
If you don’t have your phone with you during training, don’t worry. The most important thing is that you collect the information from the SweaTracker as soon as possible after finishing your activity. Data such as elevation, distance travelled, and your weight are especially relevant and should be entered into the app as soon as possible to maintain the accuracy of your sweat profile and your hydration plan, which you can get from smartwatches or tracking devices, for example.
However, if you can’t enter this data right away, the app allows you to modify it later. Just make sure you remember or write down the essential details of your training so you can adjust them correctly.
